Forsaking the long history of Rome’s rule, I find it necessary to push towards the modern landscape. Using something far more tangible and empathetic to contemporary design allows us as humans to connect more with others. However, I am not sure why this presumption pervades my thinking. If art is truly transcendent, why do I think as if communication through design is merely transient. Ought all mediums supersede the short-lived zeit-geist’s of perceived value in their respective fields? I’ll look back twenty-years and regret the design choices made then. Is it possible I am blinded? Or is the medium of design truly just a trend? Nevertheless, because it is so necessary, I will continue writing in my current obsessions. Its just so clear—always write in Helvetica.
